Oh, hi.

I may be stating the obvious, but it’s pretty amazing how cleaning your apartment can make you feel.  Not just straightening up, but full on cleaning.  I’m talking oversized yellow rubber gloves and almost passing out because of how much cleaning products are being used.  I spent most of the day (11am-4pm) cleaning almost every inch of my apartment and I feel great.  Some of it was gradual - I cleaned out and re-arranged my closets last week - but I really kicked ass today and just scrubbed like it was going out of style.  Not to say that my apartment was disgusting because it definitely wasn’t, but I haven’t done a cleaning like today in a long time.  Maybe I feel so content and accomplished because I did everything at once?  Whatever it is, it feels great.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to watch Freaks and Geeks in my spotless apartment.  No, seriously.  You should see my bathroom, it’s actually glistening.

PS:  Even though I never consciously took a ‘break’ from tumblr (I just got really busy), consider this my highly unanticipated return.

You wanna know how I got these scars?

I saw The Dark Knight last night at 12:04 with Chris and some friends.  I don’t really want to say too much, but it lived up to all of my expectations.  I LOVED it and no one will ever be able to play the Joker ever again.  Images of the Joker keep popping into my head.  It was really fantastic.  I can’t wait to see it again.

MSG Network - NYC Soundtracks
I’ve been really bad at tumbling lately, but I just wanted to let people know about a new show I’m hosting.  It’s called NYC Sound Tracks and it’s a really cool show about subway musicians.  It airs on the MSG channel Sunday nights at 8pm.  It premiered last night and will be on through the summer.

a 55 second clip of The Joker crashing a party in The Dark Knight.  I guess it can be considered kind of a spoiler if you’re being really strict with what you watch, but I think it’s awesome.  This is the first clip I’ve seen where I can really SEE the Joker - his expressions, mannerisms, etc.  As great as this clip is, I think it’s going to be the last one I see before opening night.

I’d really love for that statement to be true.  We’ll see.

It’s 5am. I just got home from work and I’m watching the first episode (ever!) of Saturday Night Live, back when it was called NBC’s Saturday Night.  George Carlin, Janis Ian, the Muppets, Andy Kaufman’s Mighty Mouse bit… it’s so surreal.
